TWO teenage boys have been tortured in Matiranga for putting up
posters on the 24th anniversary of Naniachar massacre.
A group of army personnel from Matiranga zone went to Purbo
Khedachara Kumar Karbari Para village under Belchari Union No. 5 at 8:30 a.m.
today and beat up Ruti Tripura (12) son of Taindu Tripura and Dilu Tripura (18)
son of late Khonno Mohan Tripura at Bachchu’s teashop.
About 36 Jummas were killed in Naniachar massacre on 17 November
1993.

was published in commemoration of this gruesome incident.
